Polka Stripe Dress – Yigal Azrouel

Love  it when designers launch their own online stores.  For real.  This is my current favourite from Yigal Azrouel – polka stripes!

Please congratulate me for not making a Polkaroo joke.  Because it was very difficult not to.

Four Unicorns of the Apocalypse – Krista Huot

I’ve posted about Krista Huot before, and dammit, I probably will again and again.  Because I adore her work.

Four Unicorns of the Apocalypse is a limited, 56- edition print, and holy crap, do I love it. Unicorns! Apocalypse! Question: How can you go wrong with that? Answer: You can’t, if you’re Krista Huot.

Coveted and Bought: Julian Wrap Dress – Diane Von Furstenberg

Discount and gift card in hand, I got my ass down to the Bloor St. Holt Renfrew, with some shoppin’ to do.  I was cock-blocked on my new winter jacket thoughts, as the Mackage and Smythe I loved were both out of stock in my size.  In the back of my head, I was kind of glad as I knew I could snap up a new DVF wrap dress.  And indeed, I did.

How is it that most of the things I buy are invisible on the interwebs? I have negative desire to do a photoshoot today, so we’ll play like this…picture this Julian wrap dress (in Snow Leopard Pink, via Nordstrom):

In Horseshoe Beet, like this:

Available: Well, at Holts.  So look up the store nearest you and fly over?

Willie Striped Sweater – Oonagh by Nanette Lepore

Nautical stripes are classic, for sure, but sometimes it’s nice to do something just a little different.
