Woman’s Pea Coat – Hudson’s Bay Company

I usually stay far away from wearing any kind of clothing that smacks of what most people describe as nationalism or patriotism.  Why?  Because I find it to be a lazy way to claim that you stand behind the lifestyle embodied by your country then actually thinking about what you, and the country you live in, stand for.

Then, something like this comes along – a beautifully shaped winter coat from the oldest retail entity still in existence in Canada, in their iconic blanket print.
